I sold a 1955 Chevy 2 door post in 1985 (black in color) when I was going back to school. The guy who bought it owned a bakery on the Bedford Highway near Halifax. I’ve tried to find the car before with no success. I did hear that the car may be in Newfoundland and that it may have been tubbed out for drag racing. When I sold the car it had Cragar rims, baby blue cloth interior with a 350 Chevy engine, a TH350 auto trans with a floor mounted shifter, and a column mounted tach. It still had drum brakes all around, standard steering, and brakes. I would love to see this car again and I have lots of pictures that I took when I restored it and would possibly be interested in buying it. Trophies Wanted! Donate those old trophies and free up space in your basement/attic/garage, plus help a good cause at the same time! Greenfield Dragway is looking for re-usable trophies for their 2009 season. Damaged trophies are also appreciated as they may be useful for parts. Greenfield Dragway is run by the non profit NS Drag Racers’ Association, and is the only operating dragstrip on mainland NS. Many of our club members are regular participants or spectators at their events. The CCCNS may also be having a club outing there in 2009. Contact me about any trophy donations.
